Shamanic Mimetic Memetics

Schamane während einer Zeremonie am Feuer bei ...Image via WikipediaAfter the shamanic journey or dream...comes shamanic mimetic memetics! I mean, that after receiving transforming and healing gifts from Spirit, a shamanizer must flow these blessings outward from the non-ordinary realities within into the ordinary-reality called this world.

Shamanic mimetic memetics is showing and telling through simple meaning-full gestures and sound-symbols to complex performances (costumed acting and dancing out) the stories of shamanic dreams, visions, and imaginings. Shamanic mimetic memtics are an infinite, unlimited diversity of many creative ways of shifting the shamanizer's own thoughts and emotions into new and happier memes, then through meme seeding and natural meme replication that happens, shifting life in the community (and eventually the whole world) towards better.

Shamanic ways are easier and funner to live, be, and do than explain. By easy, I mean in a "yoke is easy...burden is light" (Matthew 11:30) way, for those who are called. By funner, I mean that - for me anyway - brightly costumed acting, dancing, and singing out prayer-shifts around a fire, even the mini-fire of a candle and incense pot, is a funner-than-average way to fill with Spirit and connect with the divine in purposeful prayer.

Also: This is the 12th Day of the fun new holiday I previously blogged about, called The 12 Days of the Galapagos Pink Iguanas. A tiny circle of us, each in our own fun and funny ways, have acted out and celebrated pinkness and iguananimity on each of these 12 days. I might blog about those ways another day. And remember, Squirrel Appreciation Day is January 21st.
