Hazy Skies Mute the Sun and Hide Jupiter

June's days and nights filled with haze and mist a week ago. Jupiter, so bold and sparkly bright before, only occasionlly blinked and winked down this week, though damp, heavy, windless night air. The earthly images of Jupiter's companion planets Venus, Mercury, and Saturn may appear to be conjoining in perspectives elsewhere, in the skies of other eyes, but only in the heart's mind, here.

The sun heats up our world from behind gray stratus cloud blankets. Tall, dark, flashing thunderheads accumulate against the horizon at dusk, Yet, only the briefest, sudden downours trouble the still waters around here.
