Special Days To Celebrate!

We love having at least two major Independence Days in July, to remind anyone who is susceptible to re-minding that all days are independence days and a day can begin any moment!  There was also Lady Godiva Day(10th and/or 11th), for remembering miraculous parades - she rode to get a tax lifted - and Corpus Christi is celebrated in Coventry at about the same time!  In honor of Oscar The Giant Turtle's talent for avoiding capture in Churubusco (Indiana), the 17th of July is Turtle Day around there. . .And, the Festival of Sleipnir, Odin's 8-legged horse is the 26th.  Cheyenne Frontier Days, and the Hopi Kachina Dances come during the last week of July.  Here in Milwaukee, July could be designated Firework Display Month!  All of these days are closely linked, not too far under the surface of things. . .  In the Christian calendar we especially celebrate Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Haitian Erzulie/pilgrimage to Waterfalls), Mary Magdalene on July 22nd, and both of the sisters of Bethany, Mary(Magdalene, probably) and Martha on July 29th.  There are many messages to be discovered about independence, the days of our lives, fire and water, sovereignty, and the dancing divine masculine and feminine energy flowing out the Earth/Universe everywhere and when!  These are recommended journey intention topics for this Friday worthship circle!
